Happy Birthday Andra!

I made this birthday cake for a friend of a friend daughter's first birthday. I LOVE making childrens cakes. She seemd to like it. I am quite happy with the result. It was another version of the zoo cake I did for Lilly last year. I used cocoa powder to make the brown part of the giraffe cake on the bottom tier and I loved it. It tastes better than all that food coloring and the color gets dark vey fast. Delivering this cake was crazy. I actually had a little spill with the Zebra and had to go back to the house to give him some first aid. He still looked pretty cute though. The top layer was banana, bottom layer vanilla, both with vanilla bean buttercream. Grrrrr!
